Become an official Livestock Tour Stop

We are always looking for farms and ranches to add to our tour list. Would you like to see your operation among them?

Showcase your operation and share your expertise with 130–150 passionate livestock producers by hosting a stop on the annual Livestock Tours experience. As part of this long-standing tradition, you’ll have the opportunity to highlight your unique management practices, connect with producers from across the country, and leave a lasting impression on those shaping the future of agriculture.

We work with all kinds of operations from renowned ranches with rich histories to youngbloods with the latest in innovations – no matter where you fall, we’d love to include your operation on our itinerary!

What to expect when hosting

Hosting a Livestock Tour stop is a chance to put your operation in the spotlight while providing attendees with a valuable learning experience. We do our best to make it an enjoyable experience for hosts and attendees alike.

Make it about you

Introduce Your Operation: Share your family’s history, team’s expertise, and management philosophies. Whether it’s grazing strategies, marketing methods, or innovative vaccination protocols, your story matters.

Showcase Your Livestock: Attendees love seeing your hard work and years of dedicated breed up close. We provide an opportunity for you to showcase the animals that represent your operation’s goals and management strategies.

Share Your Challenges and Successes: The stage is all yours! We invite you to share the obstacles you’ve overcome and the opportunities shaping your operation.

Planning the Logistics

Hosting a big group can be intimidating. Fortunately, our experienced team is here to guide you every step of the way and do all the heavy lifting!

For example, if you’re open to hosting a meal, we’ll handle most of the coordination and cost.

Here’s how we can help:

Tables and Chairs: Let us know if you have seating or need rentals from a local community center.

Catering Support: We love highlighting local cuisine, especially ranch products. We’ll work with you to select a caterer.

Practicality: We find that buffet-style setups work best. Light lunches like sandwiches, chips, and cookies keep things simple, with iced tea, lemonade, or water for drinks.

Buses and Accessibility

Our tour buses are full-size passenger vehicles. If a loaded cattle trailer can navigate your roads, our buses likely can too! We aim to minimize disruptions, so let us know in advance if rough terrain could pose challenges.

Restroom Facilities

If restroom facilities are available onsite, such as at a barn or ranch headquarters, that’s ideal. Alternatively, we’ll coordinate portable restroom rentals with a local provider to ensure comfort for all attendees.

Why host a tour stop?

As part of a 75+ year legacy dubbed the “University on Wheels,” hosting a Livestock Tour stop not only spotlights your operation but connects you with peers and industry leaders in a meaningful way.
We’re grateful for your interest and excited to collaborate with you to create a memorable and impactful stop on our tour!
